Singaporean Style Curry Noodles (Laksa)

Laksa is a spicy warm soup made with noodles and a curry-based paste called Laksa. It was created by the Peranakan people, who were descendants of early Chinese migrants who settled in Penang, Malacca, Singapore and Indonesia. Laksa is considered comfort food because of its hearty quality, making it a great dish that is easy to make and perfect for rainy days. However, laksa is also enjoyed on a sunny day!

Today we are bringing you a infallible recipe for Laksa, courtesy of Yeo's.

320g Yeo’s Rice Vermicelli Noodles

120g chicken breast, diced

80g prawn, cooked, de-shelled

60g long green bean, cut into 1cm length

50g bean sprouts


1 jar of Yeo’s Laksa Paste

Preparation method

- Soften Rice Vermicelli in boiled water, drain well and set into a bowl.

- Add the chicken, long bean and Laksa Paste into 500ml boiling water. Stir well and bring to the boil.

- Add the bean sprouts and prawns, stir well until chicken is cooked and pour everything onto Rice Vermicelli. Serve hot.
